The annual Blueberry Festival is two days of summer fun for all ages! Held on the first Friday and Saturday in August since 1980, the Festival brings thousands of people to scenic Montrose PA to enjoy blueberry everything, from ice cream to pies. The 29th Annual Blueberry Festival was a huge success, with crowds of visitors supporting the Library and Historical Society! Even the weather co-operated; Friday was lovely and Saturday morning's rain quickly faded to clouds and sun. We deeply appreciate everyone who came and the efforts of hundreds of people who made it possible. Please read on for detailed thank-yous. Next year's Blueberry Festival will be held on Friday, August 7th & Saturday, August 8th, 2009. |

In association with the Blueberry Festival, five cookbooks have been compiled from the favorite recipes of local chefs. "Soups and Stews" (#3) is out of print, but copies of each of the others are available. Click through to view details on each title, including a list of recipes.
